We had the best day out on some of the most well behaved footsure horses ever! This adventure took us over all sorts of terrain and river crossings while taking in the most stunning surroundings. Our guide Milo was fantastic and we all came home with huge smiles and definitely wanting to return! Highly recommend. 😃😃😃

AMAZING trip definitely worth it. Would absolutely go again, the horses were well kept and very well trained you didn't even have to guide them they did the work for you.

Daria made the booking so easy and was very helpful, accommodating and patient considering the weather was at risk of the ride day being cancelled. Amazingly the weather changed to sunny and the ride was on! Miko was an amazing guide and made the whole experience life-memorable. Scenery stunning. Our afternoon ride through the high country of St James was a highlight of our trip to Aotearoa. Milo, and his sidekick Maya, were wonderful tour guides, that led us on an easy but exciting ride across hilltops, through rivers, and up a steep pine forest track. Our trusty steeds, Kevin and King Kong were the perfect gentlemen and so well-trained, carrying us safely throughout the trip, and coming in for a good scratch after we dismounted. It was clear that they are well loved and meticulously cared for by Milo and the team at Mountain Horse Outfitters. 10/10 adventure, we will be back for more in the future.
